Camino de Santiago: One Day at a Time
You don’t have to know exactly why you want to walk the Camino de Santiago. Some people go for faith, some for the challenge, and some because life has become so loud that a few weeks of walking sounds like a relief. Whatever brings you there, you begin the same way: put on your shoes, pick up your bag, and follow the next yellow arrow.

The People Along the Way
A day on the Camino can be very simple. You wake up, pack your things and start walking. You think about breakfast. You notice a sore spot on your foot. Then you look up and realise you’ve been walking beside someone for the last half hour without needing to say much at all.
People come from different places and carry different reasons for being there. You might talk with someone over coffee and never see them again. Or you might keep meeting the same familiar face, morning after morning, until sharing a table at the end of the day feels completely natural.
There will be days when you enjoy every step, and days when you’re just glad to arrive and take your shoes off. Both belong to the journey. The Camino doesn’t need every day to be beautiful to mean something.
And when you finally reach Santiago, the arrival is yours to feel however you feel it. You might be happy, tired, emotional, or already thinking about the people you met along the way. There’s no one right ending to a walk that began for so many different reasons.
At Collective, we love that a trail can leave you with memories you never planned to make. A conversation, a shared meal, a yellow arrow when you needed one. Those are the things you carry home.
